Measuring Guide

Always check your measurements carefully as we can not be held responsible for mistakes.

You�ll need a pen and paper and a good quality steel tape measure. Never use a cloth tape measure as they can stretch and give inaccurate measurements

The first decision to make is, do you want your blind to fit inside or outside the recess? (Note: If the recess is less than 2.5 inches deep, the window opens in wards or there are other obstructions the blind must be fitted outside the recess)Inside Window Recess

Measure the width of your recess in 3 places and give us the smallest measurement. If you have tiles at the bottom of the recess remember to measure between the tiles and give us this measurement.

Do the same for the drop and we�ll take it from there. We will make a small deduction from the width (and drop in the case of vertical blinds) so that your blind will fit snugly in a recess of this size.

Outside Window Recess (Measurement type �Exact�)

Decide how much you wish to overlap the recess at each side (suggested overlap is 64mm each side) and at the top and bottom. Ideally, when raised, the blind should not obscure the window. Therefore blinds must be fixed high enough above top of window recess to allow for depth of roller mechanism or head rail and bunched slats.

Note:
Remember that the cloth width for roller blinds will be 2.8cm narrower than the overall size.
